I came to this
as a dance parent first.
I started where you are, in the lobby, watching my own children transform on stage, wanting to preserve what I saw for their own eyes someday.
Based in Byram, Mississippi, I specialize in dance photography that captures the passion and artistry of young performers. The work started as a dance parent, watching my own children transform on stage and wanting to preserve those moments for other families.
I bring both technical skill and genuine understanding of what dance families cherish most: the small moments between the big ones, the look a dancer gives the floor before she moves, the shape of a phrase that no video can quite hold.
Sessions are slow by design. I don't shoot hundreds of frames; I shoot what's actually there. The goal is a portrait your dancer will still recognize in twenty years.
